Summer Invasive Species Removal

Want to volunteer with the Gorge Waterway Action Society and learn more about restoration in the park? This event is for you! Weekly invasive species removal will run August 4, 11, and 18 from 9am-11am. These events are run by our knowledgable Restoration interns: we meet outside of the Nature House in Esquimalt Gorge Park. We have gloves, shovels, and other tools to help with removal; however, we work with a variety of invasive plants including Himalayan blackberry, so please remember to appropriate clothing (eg. long sleeves) as we may be dealing with some thorns!
