Polyclad Flatworms
Belonging to the phylum platyhelminthes, polyclad flatworms (class Turbellaria) have a multi branched gut. Larval and adult forms living in a planktonic existence, as well as individuals living on the seafloor that are swept into the water column by turbulence can be seen in plankton samples.
